A sacred name should awaken reverence, not become a weapon.

Scripture
“God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.” — Philippians 2:9

Reflection
For Christians, the name of Jesus carries healing, forgiveness, sacrifice, and hope.

When that name is used to insult another religion, frighten a vulnerable person, or justify contempt, its spirit is obscured.

To lift high the name of Christ is to lift high the qualities He embodied.

The most convincing proclamation of His name is a life made compassionate through following Him.
