No religious community possesses only light, and no people are made entirely of darkness.

Reflection
The contrast between light and darkness names a real spiritual struggle.

But it becomes dangerous when we place our entire community on the side of light and another community entirely in darkness.

Light and shadow pass through every human heart and institution.

Interfaith honesty allows us to recognize truth in others while confronting prejudice, injustice, and hypocrisy within ourselves.
