Reflection
Christians hear in these words the eternal sovereignty of Christ.

Such sovereignty need not make us fearful of every truth found beyond Christian boundaries.

If all history belongs to God, then no culture, century, or people exists outside divine concern.

We can trust the greatness of Christ without shrinking God’s activity to the limits of our own knowledge.
