Scripture
“One Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all.” — Ephesians 4:5–6

Reflection
“One faith” is sometimes interpreted to mean that only one religious institution may contain truth.

Yet the passage is a plea for humility, patience, love, and unity.

The deepest foundation comes in its final words: one God and Father of all.

Interfaith unity does not require every scripture, ceremony, or theology to become identical. It recognizes one human family turning, through many histories, toward one divine Reality.
