Eternal life is sometimes treated only as a reward reserved for members of one religious community after death.

Christ also describes it as a present passage from death into life.

Whenever hatred becomes love, despair becomes hope, selfishness becomes service, and estrangement becomes reconciliation, resurrection has begun within the soul.

Interfaith friendship allows Christians to share this life while appreciating genuine spiritual transformation wherever it appears.
