Reflection
The Church understands itself as the body of Christ, joined through diverse gifts.

But the body exists to continue Christ’s presence in the world.

His hands touched the excluded. His feet crossed forbidden boundaries. His voice defended the overlooked. His table welcomed unexpected guests.

An interfaith neighbour should encounter the body of Christ as living compassion, not a closed fist.

Bahá’í teachings compare humanity itself to one body in which the suffering or wellbeing of every member affects the whole.
